Julia Langfitt, DVM

Dr. Langfitt graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. She went on to do a yearlong rotating small animal medicine and surgical internship at The Barn: Vet Referral Associates in Rockville, MD. After her internship, she left the US with her journalist husband to explore the world. She has practiced small animal medicine in Kenya, China, and the U.K. A native of Maryland, Dr. Langfitt grew up crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay with her grandfather. After raising two children abroad, she and her husband moved to Annapolis in 2023, where they now live with their rescue cats, Archie and Toby, while their children attend college and graduate school in PA.
