Allie: 21-Year-Old Domestic Shorthaired Cat
As Allie entered her senior years, she began struggling with mobility and found it increasingly difficult to navigate stairs. Acupuncture quickly became a relaxing part of her routine, often ending with a peaceful nap during her treatments.
Over time, her owner noticed improved mobility, renewed strength, and a greater willingness to stay active. With regular treatments, Allie enjoyed several more comfortable and happy years surrounded by her family. She will always be remembered with great affection.
Shadow: 6-Month-Old Husky With Congenital Hydrocephalus
Shadow was diagnosed at just a few months of age with congenital hydrocephalus, a condition that can cause neurological symptoms, including seizures. With a combination of acupuncture, Chinese herbs, food therapy, and anti-seizure medication, her seizures were brought under control.
With her symptoms well managed, Shadow was able to get back to being her happy, energetic, and very playful self!
Flame and Ashley: 14-Year-Old Domestic Short-Haired Cats With Liver Cancer (Flame) and Renal Failure (Ashley)
Flame and Ashley were longtime housemates who came to us regularly for acupuncture to help manage their conditions. As you can see, both were very comfortable and relaxed during their treatments.
Ashley received acupuncture to support her kidney function and overall well-being. Flame bravely battled liver cancer, and acupuncture was used alongside his other care to help manage his symptoms and keep him comfortable.
Sadly, we lost Flame to cancer after a long and difficult battle. He was a wonderful cat and will be greatly missed.
Moses: 4-Year-Old French Bulldog With a Cranial Cruciate Ligament Tear
Moses, a champion show dog, underwent surgery to repair a torn cranial cruciate ligament. Although he was doing well after surgery, his owner wanted to help him regain a normal gait in time for several upcoming shows.
Acupuncture was incorporated into his recovery to support healing, improve mobility, and help him return to activity. Moses made an excellent recovery, returned to the show ring, and performed beautifully!
